1. Description of the Games
OVERVIEW: The ReacTV® Games ("Games") are a series of repeating skill based activities in which players ("Players") can participate by viewing on the Internet, on authorized hosting web sites including www.7.TV. Responses to questions about the Games can be made via the Internet on sites hosting the Games. The Games that are webcast on www.7.TV are hosted by the Sponsor, 7.TV, LLC ("Sponsor.")

By accumulating points for answering questions correctly, Players compete with other Players nationally, live, and may be eligible for prizes at the completion of every 30 minute Game Show, as well as prizes after every commercial break within the Game Show, which are scheduled every ten minutes "on the 7's." Game Shows are conducted daily based upon a programming schedule posted on the Home Page, www.7.TV ("Home Page").

COMPETITION DETAILS: Each 30 minute Game Show will be conducted in three consecutive ten minute segments ("Rounds"). Each Round consists of a seven minutes segment (the "GĀM" segment) devoted to multiple choice trivia questions and word puzzles on various subjects, followed by two minutes of "CRĀV®" advertisements for various products and services ("CRĀV" segment), concluding with a 1 minute "Reaction" segment.

During the CRĀV ad segment, Players will notice that some advertisements ask questions about the commercials DURING THE BROADCAST OF THEIR COMMERCIALS. These "Ad Survey" questions may ask Players if they would like more information about the product being advertised, or how the Player feels about the quality of the ad or product. Players who respond to the Ad Survey questions (by clicking on their selection in the "dashboard" area below the Game Show screen) will receive an additional 2,000 Game Show points. These points are awarded simply for answering, and no purchase is necessary. (For example, one advertiser may ask, "Would you like more information about this product?" followed by choices that include "Yes" and "No." Regardless of the choice (Yes or No), the Player will receive 2,000 points for responding.

Following the CRĀV ad segment will be a one minute Player response period ("Reaction" segment) containing questions related to one or more of the CRĀV advertisements. Participants who answer the CRĀV questions correctly will earn 7,000 Game Show points. The Reaction Segment may include "Follow-up" questions designed by advertisers or the Sponsor. Participants who answer the GĀM questions correctly will receive Game Show points, which are accumulated over the course of a 30 minute Game Show. Participants who answer the CRĀV questions correctly, and who thereafter immediately answer the one or two mandatory Follow-up questions truthfully and completely, will also receive Game Show points, which are accumulated along with points from GĀM questions over the course of a 30 minute Game Show. Any Game Show points remaining at the end of a Game Show are converted to "Lifetime Points" at the end of the Game Show, as described later herein.

WINNING GAME SHOWS: Participants with the most Game Show points at the end of a 30 minute Game Show can win Game Show cash or prizes. The number and variety of prizes to be awarded each Game Show, and the winners' "Screen Names" are announced under a "Winners" area, situated on the Home Page. NOTE: For Practice Game Shows or Beta Testing periods, Players will receive Lifetime Points for playing, though prizes are generally not awarded during Practice Games or Beta Testing Periods.

WINNING CRAZY 7 GAME SHOWS: For ReacTV games labeled as "CRAZY 7," the objective is to complete the Game Show with the 7th highest score, in order to receive the top prize being offered. CRAZY 7 format games are promoted as such, and the Sponsor will include information regarding the prize level being awarded on the Home Page prior to the commencement of a Game Show, as well as said details being broadcast within the opening segment of the live CRAZY 7 Game Show itself. Players may be required to obtain a minimum number of Game Show points, and/or to have accrued a defined number of Lifetime Points over a defined period of time, to be qualified to win the CRAZY 7 prize. CRAZY 7 prize amounts, minimum Game Show points, and qualifying Lifetime Points over a defined period of game play, if applicable, will be posted on the Home Page prior to the commencement of the CRAZY 7 game, as well as being broadcast within the opening segment of the live CRAZY 7 Game Show itself.

WINNING CRĀV PRIZES: In addition to winning Game Shows, Players who answer CRĀV ad questions, and fully and truthfully answer all Follow-up questions, will also be eligible to win CRĀV prizes, which are generally announced shortly after each CRĀV segment. All such qualified CRĀV Respondents are placed into an automated drawing immediately following every CRĀV commercial break, for a pre-announced number and variety of prize(s) or cash award(s). CRĀV Respondents are chosen by computer at random, one at a time, and if the Respondent's CRĀV answer is thereafter deemed to be correct, the Respondent shall be declared a winner. Respondents continue to be selected one at a time until the total number of announced prizes have been awarded to Respondents with correct CRĀV answers. The number and variety of CRĀV prizes to be awarded during each CRĀV Segment, and the winners' "Screen Names" are announced under a "Winners" area, situated on the Home Page. NOTE: For Practice Game Shows or Beta Testing periods, Players will receive Lifetime Points for playing, though CRĀV prizes are generally not awarded during Practice Games or Beta Testing Periods.

OTHER OFFERS: From time to time, Advertisers may make Opt-in offers to Players during the Follow-up questions, for FREE coupons, samples, rebates, brochures, etc. Players are under no obligation to accept such opt-in offers. Approximately once a week, the Sponsor shall fulfill any such Opt-in offers of each Player, by forwarding a CRĀV "Care Pack" containing all Opt-in items selected by the Player during the prior week.

Answers to GĀM or CRĀV questions, and Follow-up questions, are submitted via a Broadband-connected Internet enabled personal computer; future deployment may include other devices, including authorized hardware or set-top boxes, and enabled mobile phones and other wireless devices. The Practice, Beta, and Games begin on or after June 2, 2008, and may be suspended or end at any time, in the Sponsor's sole discretion.

2. Eligibility
The Games are open to legal U.S. residents who have reached the age of 18 in their state of residence. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law. Employees and Independent Contractors of 7.TV, LLC, ReacTV, LLC, Jagged Peak, Inc., ResponDynamics, LLC, FMTV Productions, Inc., and their affiliates, subsidiaries, their advertising and promotional agencies, and members of their immediate families (parents, siblings, children and spouse, regardless of where they reside) are not eligible to win cash or prizes. Furthermore, employees of 7.TV, LLC or ReacTV, LLC, and their immediate families, are not eligible to win cash or prizes for a period of 12 months following the termination of employment.

3. Registration
You must register before you can participate. There is no charge to register or play the Games. You may register at any time by visiting www.7.TV and following the on-screen registration instructions. You may only register once regardless of the number of email addresses you may have. You may not share your account, screen name, user name, email address or CRĀV ID number with another user, as all responses at all times must correspond to the unique registered user and related registration information. Once fully registered, you shall receive via email a unique CRĀV ID number, and will become eligible to receive our CRĀVe Club services, including invitation to special reactive tournaments, and the ability to view CRĀV ads on-line, and win CRĀV prizes. Please keep this number in a secure location, as it will be required to claim prizes, or to make changes to your account, and may be utilized in the future to receive special offers or discounts on products.

4. How To Play
GĀM Segments: Each GĀM segment will be made available online. Players who do not have access to broadband Internet service may not be able to view and respond to the GĀM segments in a timely manner.

Game Show points are earned based on how quickly the Player enters the correct answer, before the time expires for that question. Points diminish the longer it takes to answer correctly; a wrong answer will cause a Player to have points deducted from their accumulated Game Show points. The maximum Game Show points that can be earned in Round One GĀM Segments is 1,000 points; 2,000 in Round Two; and 3,000 in Round Three. Wrong answers lose 250 points in Round One; 500 points in Round Two, and 750 points in Round Three. Players can not receive less than zero points at the conclusion of a Game Show. Game Show points reset at the start of every Game Show.

Each Game Show's GĀM Segment will contain a Psyche phase, consisting of four multiple choice trivia questions, followed by the Alpha-Bet phase, consisting of four multiple choice questions about a "hangman-styled" word or phrase, which has its letters revealed gradually over the course of the Alpha-Bet phase.

About Psyche: Psyche is a patent pending trivia game that requires concentration throughout the timed question. After a question is asked, Players are provided with 4 choices. The object of each question is to insure that you have quickly selected whichever choice is correct AS OF THE TIME THAT ONLY TWO CHOICES REMAIN. Psyche rules dictate that ONE, and ONLY ONE, of the FINAL TWO REMAINING CHOICES will be correct.

The initial 4 multiple choices for each question are ultimately reduced to two choices before time runs out, through a series of "Switches," "Strikes," and "Swipes." Let's assume that the Question is, "Where is 7.TV headquartered?" The choices are 1) New York, 2) St. Petersburg, 3) None Of These, and 4) London. Shortly after all 4 choices first appear, there is the "Switch." One of the answers (for example, choice #1) is switched from one choice ("New York"), to a different, new choice ("Atlanta"). After the Switch comes the "Strike," where one of the choices is stricken through with a line (for example, 4) London). Finally, one of the remaining 3 choices is "Swiped" completely off the board, leaving only two choices, one and only one of which is correct.

Attention is needed to successfully play Psyche, a question that was at one time correct may be Switched or Swiped, leaving another answer (i.e. None Of These) correct. Or, "None of These" may be correct at first because the other choices are wrong, but during the Switch, the correct answer becomes the new choice. Players must pay attention, and make changes as quickly as possible. Every time another choice is selected, the maximum eligible points for that question is reduced (as the timer continues to count down to zero). Therefore, it may not be possible at all times to achieve the maximum points for any given question.

IMPORTANT TIP: The Home Page features a tab entitled "Search". Avid, multi-tasking players are invited to open the Search tab during Psyche and to utilize the Google search engine to "check their answers" after having made a selection. Quick, accurate typing skills and shrewd knowledge of search etiquette can provide a real edge to Players who use the Search function correctly.

About Alpha-Bet: Before the first Alpha-Bet question each Round, Players WITH A POSITIVE GAME SHOW POINT VALUE will be able to risk or lose an Alpha-Bet Bonus equal to either 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% of the Game Show Points they have accrued for the current Game Show in play. Players with negative points going into Alpha-Bet will not be eligible to place an Alpha-Bet wager. Players with positive scores who fail to select a wager percentage will default to 0%, and no wager will be placed. If the Player answers all four Alpha-Bet questions correctly, in addition to getting the Game Show points for each stage (based on how quickly they answered), the Player will receive the Alpha-Bet Bonus. If any one of the four Alpha-Bet answers is incorrect, the Player will be penalized, and will lose an amount equal to the Alpha-Bet Bonus.

By way of example, let's assume that in Round One, a Player has accrued 3,800 points after 4 Psyche questions. The Player is fairly confident that he will be able to solve all 4 Alpha-Bet Stages, and based on a review of the Leaderboard, he is close to being at the top of all Players, so he risks 100% of his Game Show points (3,800 points). He answers the subsequent four Alpha-Bet questions correctly, and receives an additional 3,500 Game Show points, PLUS the 3,800 Alpha-Bet Bonus, for a score at the end of Round One of 11,100.

Alpha-Bet questions usually require more time to answer than Psyche, as the Player needs to study the word puzzle and its limited revealed letters, and a clue, to figure it out. Knowledge of the rules of spelling, common words and phrases, and frequently used consonants and vowels will aid the Player. Players are presented with a word or phrase, a clue about the puzzle (i.e. "U.S. President"), with one or more letters initially revealed, and then one or more blank spaces will glow. The object is to guess the letter behind the glowing spaces; ALL GLOWING SPACES OF THE SAME COLOR ARE THE SAME LETTER; SOMETIMES TWO OR MORE COLORS GLOW BEHIND MULTIPLE LETTERS, MEANING THAT THE PLAYER MUST GUESS BOTH LETTER CORRECTLY TO BE RIGHT.

Players are initially presented with 4 choices, and two of the answers are gradually Swiped, leaving 2 answers, ONE of which is correct, and the other incorrect. NOTE: There is no Switch or Strike in Alpha-Bet, at this time; the Sponsor reserves the right to introduce these elements periodically, or at a later date. Additionally, every time another choice is selected, the timer counts down, and the maximum eligible points for that question is reduced.

In this example, let's assume our puzzle, with the clue "U.S. President," looks like this, and you are asked to guess the glowing blanks:

     _J_ _I_ ___ ___ _Y_ ___ ___ _R_ _T_ ___ _R_

             Your choices are: 1) B 2) C 3) M 4) None of these

As the timer approaches zero, clues number 1 and 4 are Swiped, leaving 2 and 3 as your final choices. The correct answer (choice 3) is as follows:
     _J_ _I_ _M_ _M_ _Y_ ___ ___ _R_ _T_ ___ _R_

The next Alpha-Bet question would continue to reveal letters from the above puzzle.

About CRĀV: To play the patented CRĀV phase, you will be required to view the advertisements, pay close attention, and then answer a question at the conclusion of the two minute CRĀV advertising period.

After the 2:00 minutes of CRĀV ads, which appear regularly on the 7's, a multiple choice question about one or more of the preceding ads will be posted. The question will appear on screen during approximately 30 seconds after the ads complete, and the type and number of prizes will be announced. The correct answer will be broadcast prior to the end of the one minute Reaction segment that follows the last CRĀV ad.

Before the CRĀV question is removed from the screen, Players must have entered their choice; Players will have up to another 30 seconds after the Reaction segment concludes to answer the one or two Follow-up questions posed after the CRĀV question. NOTE: If you see Follow-up questions appear in your Dashboard, you MUST answer them completely and truthfully in the allotted time, in order to be eligible for CRĀV prizes. Failure to answer Follow-up questions will NOT impact your receipt of 7,000 points if the CRĀV question was answered correctly, but you will NOT be eligible for a CRĀV prize if any Follow-up questions presented to you went unanswered.

Unless when otherwise noted, CRĀV questions are worth 7,000 Game Show points when answered correctly, and there is no penalty for getting the answer wrong.

GAME SHOW TIE-BREAKERS. At the completion of Round 3 of a Game Show, Player(s) with the highest Game Point totals will win the announced Game Show prizes. If Players are tied, the Player with the highest Accumulated Lifetime Points will be declared the winner. If ties still remain, the Player with the earliest date of first registering on 7.TV will be the winner.

You can participate in each Segment of a Game Show only once regardless of the number of email addresses you may have. Odds of being selected as a Respondent to a CRĀV prize drawing depends on the number of participants who answer the CRĀV question; however, once selected, the Player must have answered the CRĀV question correctly to win.

4. Lifetime Points/Prizes
Lifetime Points are non-transferable, and are accumulated after every completed Game Show, including Beta and Practice Game Shows. Bonus Lifetime Points may also be awarded by the Sponsor during Registration Drives. Of primary importance, having the most Lifetime Points in a tie situation will be the primary determining tie breaker. Additionally, periodically the Sponsor may host special invitational tournaments to Players with higher overall, or recently accumulated Lifetime Points during live, non-Practice Game Shows. To retain Lifetime Points, Players should log into the Home Page at least once per month, as the Sponsor reserves the right to reduce Lifetime Points by 50% for each 30 day period of non-activity. For example. if a Player with 400,000 Lifetime Points fails to log in at least once in a month, the number of Lifetime Points will be reduced by one half (from 400,000 to 200,000). Once reduced, lost Lifetime Points may not be reinstated. After more than 6 months of inactivity, the Sponsor reserves the right to suspend the Player's account and the Player will then be required to re-register to become eligible for Game Show points and prizes. In such an instance, the date of re-registration shall become the Player's registration date, NOT the date of original registration. A new CRĀV ID number may be assigned to the Player, at the Sponsor's discretion. (NOTE: Beta testers who accumulated Lifetime Points from ReacTV, LLC, may, upon the sole election of Sponsor, be credited for a portion of formerly accumulated Lifetime Points, if said Beta Testers re-register on the Sponsor site, within parameters established by Sponsor).

SPECIAL LIFETIME POINTS: Players may earn additional Lifetime Points, which are NOT applied to an existing Game Show, but are immediately and directly deposited to the Lifetime Point account, for the following event(s):

7,500 Points - Scoring the most Game Show Points versus other Players in a "Studio." When playing a Game Show online, Players are placed randomly into a private, virtual "Studio" with 1-9 other Players around the country. Players compete with the other users in that Studio, for the 7,500 Lifetime Point award, while also competing against everyone else playing in the country. Even if a Player does not win a prize nationally, a Player may still compete and defeat the other Players in a Studio for a Lifetime Point bonus of 7,500 points.

5. Acceptance Official Rules
As a condition of entry, participants fully and unconditionally agree to these Official Rules and to Sponsor's decisions, which are final and binding in all respects.

6. Void Entries and Registrations
Use of any automated system (e.g., robots, automatic, macro, programmed or like entry methods) or submission of multiple registrations or entries is prohibited. Any attempt by any player to use an automated system, to share a player's account so that multiple users are using one registered account, or to obtain more than one (1) entry or registration by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations, or any other methods, will void all of that entrant's entries and render that person ineligible to receive any prize. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void.

7. Change of Email Address
Players are solely responsible for notifying the Sponsor of any changes to their e-mail addresses by updating their profile on www.7.TV.

9. Disputes
In the event of a dispute as to any entry, the authorized account holder, i.e., natural person, of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. Potential winner may be required to show proof of identification. Sponsor may require that a potential winner provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address and/or username associated with the winning entry, and reserves the right to validate and verify any prior answers or demographic registration data provided by the potential winner as a condition of awarding a prize. Providing false information to the Sponsor, during registration, registration maintenance, or CRĀV Follow-up questions, is grounds for disqualification.

10. Substitution; Taxes
No assignment or transfer of prizes will be permitted, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of comparable value or greater value. 11. Potential Winner
(a) Verification. THE POTENTIAL WINNING CLAIMS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR, WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL. SPONSOR SHALL SOLELY DETERMINE ANY FORM OF VERIFICATION. A PLAYER IS NOT A WINNER OF ANY PRIZE UNLESS AND UNTIL PLAYER'S ELIGIBILITY AND THE POTENTIAL WINNING ENTRY HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND ENTRANT HAS BEEN NOTIFIED THAT VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE.

"Prize Notices" will be delivered and potential winners will be notified via Email, or via regular mail or overnight mail sent approximately 1-5-days following the determination of the potential winner. Players are responsible for insuring that all mailing and e-mail information is up-to-date and accurate. Prize notices returned as undeliverable will result in the disqualification of the potential prize winner.

(e) Winning Frequency. Sponsor reserves the right to limit winners to no more than 12 times per year, and to allow only one mega-prize award (prizes or cash in excess of $9,999) once per year per Player or household, except for by-invitation tournaments. 12. Conditions of Participation
(a) Conduct. Prior to registration, Players shall review and shall acknowledge review and acceptance of Sponsor's User Agreement as a condition of registration and subsequent participation. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate, and/or suspend the Games and these Rules and to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry or Game play process, violates these official rules, or acts in a disruptive, obscene, vulgar or unsportsmanlike manner. Without limiting the foregoing, Sponsor may lock out an entrant who, in Sponsor's sole judgment, has been disqualified, has questionable eligibility or is otherwise ineligible to enter. CAUTION: A PERSON WHO ATTEMPTS DELIBERATELY TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THESE GAME CONTESTS OR TO ALTER OR DAMAGE A WEB SITE MAY BE SUBJECT TO CIVIL AND/OR CRIMINAL PENALTIES AND FINES; AND SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

(b) Incidents. Sponsor reserves the right at its discretion to modify, suspend, terminate and/or cancel screen names and accounts that it judges as meeting any or all of these conditions.

13. Beta Test Periods; Practice Games
The Sponsor reserves the right to periodically conduct Beta Testing Periods ("Beta Periods.") During a Beta Period (indicated by the display on the Home Page or Game Show elements of the terms "Beta" or "Practice" when referring to Sponsor's programming, Games, or Rumble Tournaments), Players shall be deemed as "Beta Testers," and use of the Sponsor's site is further subject to the following terms and conditions:

The www.7.TV website is provided for testing on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and beta or practice gaming hours may vary from day to day.
  • During Beta Periods, the Sponsor may host a Beta Tournament ("Beta Rumble,") where Lifetime Points may be accrued over an extended period of multiple weeks, and prizes to winners of the Beta Rumble may be awarded. (Note: Please see the individual Beta Rumble Rules for a full description and official rules.) Sponsor reserves the right to reset the accrued Lifetime Points collected by Players during the Beta Rumble Period, at the conclusion of the Beta Period. Sponsor also reserves the right to reset some or all Player registration information, and may require Players to partially or fully re-register or supplement registration information prior to Players being authorized to access the site after the completion of the Beta Period.
  • During the period of time between live "Prizing" Game Shows, the Sponsor may webcast "Practice Games," which may contain repeating duplicate Game Shows, in consecutive hours. Practice Games are designed to allow newly registered Players to become familiar with the Game Show rules and program flow, and are NOT subject to prizing. However, new and existing Players may play Practice Games, and may accrue Lifetime Points during Practice Games. Sponsor reserves the right to eliminate or reduce the pro rata value of Lifetime Points earned during Practice Games, at Sponsor's sole discretion.
